First Snow

Last night, a cold front went through and we had our first snow of the season. Not enough that we had to shovel snow, but enough to surprise my late blooming flowers.

Even more surprising, was that all the snow and most of the cold was gone by 4:00 this afternoon. Such is fall and winter, in my next of the woods.
